Day 8 - First Vet Visit
Hershey's first visit to Dr. Kathy, her second round of shots. She's not happy about it, she was even more unhappy with the microchip, as it's a larger needle.
We have to go back in two weeks for her Rabies shot, she's too young at the moment.
And here's a bonus, what happens when you try to nap while the puppy wants to play:
But you'll notice that the scratch over my left eye is healing nicely.

Aww even at the vet she looks so cute.
ReplyDeleteHope your nose heals soon.
Poor things! She sure does hurt you a lot. Hope she didn't cry much at the vet.
ReplyDeleteBev - that vet shot is a classic! Looks like a Norman Rockwell illustration come to life. I am sure you gave Hershey lots of love afterwards.
ReplyDeleteShe's sitting still, but that tail appears to be wagging.. ;) As for you.... I think a purple heart may be in order.....
ReplyDeleteOk, I fanlly got around in commenting.
ReplyDeleteYou better start being carefull otherwise you are going to hurt yourself.
Looks like she is doing very well at the vets.
Dr. Kathy is a real friend to all the animals of Chelan and Douglas County. She is the one vet who actually cares enough to do reasonably priced spay and neuter surgeries, and you can tell by the photo, she's a sweetheart with the puppies.
ReplyDeleteJust look at that look that Hershey is giving you there!
Awwh, look at her "what's happening to me?" face!
ReplyDeleteThough on second look, she's more putting up with it...waiting to get on with something more interesting.
That "What did I ever do to you?" look is priceless.
ReplyDeleteThen the next pic answers the question nicely :)
Great series Bevissimo.
Her eyes seem to be saying "save me, save me please". Awesome shot beeve.
ReplyDeleteAwww...poor Hershey! Whenever we had to take our dog to the vet she would turn into a nervous wreck the minute we walked through the door...shaking all over. But I see she got her revenge on you ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, my word, it's a war zone out there. I hope you are both feeling better about yourselves and each other soon!
ReplyDeleteNo she doesn't look happy does she! Neither do you actually!!
ReplyDeleteWas the vet visit payback lol
